Perhaps the dumbest article title ever: “The Arctic hasn’t been this warm for 3 million years”… AEUHHH???
Every historian knows the Roman and Medieval Warm Periods. They also know the Little Ice Age and tie a lot of bad occurrences such as pestilence and witch hunts to that. There were no thermometers at those times but there were the consequences of drastically warmer weather and we find it in the documents through harvest figures and planting strategies. But those historians are no climate scientists so they can afford to take the data the way it is – not the way they need it to suit a narrative.
