Planned $2 bln LNG project in Philippines put on hold

2 billion for a 2,2 mtpa regasification plant? That’s on the very pricey side. I don’t know what’s covered by this price tag though. Or is it the kind of cheap infrastructure that China wants to foist upon the world? So many questions.

I was introduced to and met Rudi in Angola when he started to develop his Sub Saharan Africa network. At the time he worked for EconGas/OMV and he tried organizing longterm LNG supply for them under the unlikeliest of all circumstances.
