Renewables – Fossil Fuels = Energy Poverty: European Edition
Every society that rose from the lowest levels of subsistence to the highest levels of accomplishment always built the most reliable and economical energy system it possibly could. While a country grows up, there is no need to tell people what is needed. They can feel the lack of it every day. But in our fat, self-congratulatory, lazy, social media munching societies we have grown oblivious of basic necessities for human life. The sad truth is that the only thing that will wake them up will also crush us. A scare is not going to suffice. We must kill it for everyone to get back to sanity.
