Out of sight – out of mind. Thats the exact same thing we have done when we moved all our manufacturing to China. We don’t see the appalling environmental and societal destruction China wreaks and through which they can lower their prices. It allows us to live in our Potemkin village of a world where insignificant made-up issues are actually issues that matter. Thats a luxury we could never afford. There is plenty of mineable ore for almost anything right in the developed world. To lift them we must come around and allow mining under realistic conditions.
