Sonatrach aims for more

Sonatrach faces an Egyptian problem. Their domestic gas demand goes through the roof and international markets are not quite the bumper earnings call they once were. All NOC managers and their superiors have gotten used to an endless ain of cash from their oil and gas sales for the past 15 years. They can’t even remember the lean years anymore. And during the fat years, they have gamed the market and treated buyers badly wich comes back and bites them now. But the worst is – just imagine an Algerian leader faces a widespread revolt in Algeria as there is not enough domestic energy. Will he risk his grip on power or cut deliveries to export markets?
