Tellurian’s Driftwood LNG Saga Continues

If Tellurian could not pull it off right now, it will never be able to do so. Tellurian seems to have fallen prey to the same virus that befalls many project developers in LNG. An overblown sense of self-importance, massively inflated expectations, fossilized marketing techniques, and a great dollop of hype on top. If LNG does not get its act together and look beyond the rim of the soup cup it is in, it will never grow into what it can be – the backbone of the global energy future.

I was introduced to and met Rudi in Angola when he started to develop his Sub Saharan Africa network. At the time he worked for EconGas/OMV and he tried organizing longterm LNG supply for them under the unlikeliest of all circumstances.
