A few years past I met a representative of a Central European government for breakfast. We talked about all kinds of things as we have been friends from before he joined governmental circles. One thing he said stuck with me. He told me that their prime minister is convinced that the fight against green extremism will be the defining issue for the next 10 years at least. That was before COVID mind you but it’s just as true. There are leaders that are waiting for the right opportunity to bring balance back.

I was introduced to and met Rudi in Angola when he started to develop his Sub Saharan Africa network. At the time he worked for EconGas/OMV and he tried organizing longterm LNG supply for them under the unlikeliest of all circumstances.
