The case for an environmentalism that builds

When I was in my twenties, I was an idealist. You know the saying that I would like to adapt to “If you are not an idealist when 20 you have no heart and if you are not a realist at 50 you have no brain”. Anyways, in my twenties, I was not only subscribed to the Economist – I religiously studied every issue. I collected them and referred back to them frequently. A few years ago I even deleted my free subscription to the Economist podcasts so the last vestige is gone. Now the only exposure I get is if the algorithm throws single articles at me like this one. The Economist has completed its migration to full communism. Bagehot would turn in his grave.
