Claims, claims, claims – it would also appear that Global warming causes the severe cold. No matter how one turns it, it’s always humans that are to blame. Never mind that there is not a shred of evidence. Who needs evidence when a mass panic works much better? The problem is that even if people are credulous, they often start to put on more than two neurons when it hurts at the purse level, and at the same time it gets unusually cold. Maybe the global cooling caused by the lesser solar output makes sense after all. I am talking to a diverse crowd and I have seen some AGW believers ask themselves if there is more to it than a trace gas. Things start to budge.
