The Dumbest Genius Librarian

When the great dot-com balloon burst around the year 2000, the collective gasp could’ve powered a small nation—so dazzling had the promise been, so utterly intoxicating the hype. The Internet was to be the gilded stage for the mother of all growth epics, a cybernetic Olympus for the modern age. And then—pop. Tears, tantrums, and recriminations followed, as paper empires crumbled into ashes. But here’s the twist: while the starry-eyed pioneers perished in the blast, the Internet itself didn’t die—it merely shrugged, evolved, and grew into the monstrous leviathan now entwined in every waking moment of our lives. AI may follow a similar path. It’s a splendid tool, no doubt—but a tool nonetheless. In the hands of a clumsy fool, it will only amplify the mess. In the grip of a true craftsman, however, it will sing. The coming culling will separate the artisans from the amateurs. As ever.
