It’s not only that Natural Gas is en vogue. Its also a combination of a number of events that drive demand and also reduces supply. Increasing volatility in electricity networks brought about by more wind and solar need counterbalancing. Natural Gas is quick and effective. Also, NG use as vehicle fuel starts to make inroads increasing demand, and ridiculous policies towards fossil fuels kill supply projects. But high prices will have their own effect.
