People are on the ropes. COVID just dissolved any semblance of “we are fine” with sledgehammers. But let’s be real here. It’s not COVID thats the problem. It’s our overspending and debt addiction that is. We have lived beyond our means for many decades now, and we have spent the last 12 years making the problem worse instead of fixing our economies. Now we pay the price, and COVID is just a convenient scapegoat. But there is a silver lining. I was introduced to and met Rudi in Angola when he started to develop his Sub Saharan Africa network. At the time he worked for EconGas/OMV and he tried organizing longterm LNG supply for them under the unlikeliest of all circumstances.
