The world will hardly notice the blip we are causing right now. We will, but thats a different matter altogether. Yes, we go into a hard patch. We had almost a lifetime of parties but especially so the last 30 years and as it is with any good feast, we have massively overdone it. We have gone into a level of debt unseen, we have riddled our landscapes with subsidy monsters and wrecked our energy systems. We have moved our industries into countries that could not care a bit about the environment to have cheap consumer goods. We will have to learn to live with less. If you have already, don’t worry too much. Otherwise, brace.

Together they break down the ideas of social credit and easy activism, and paint the picture of a world we can strive for, without the demonization and destruction of the one we currently inhabit.

I was introduced to and met Rudi in Angola when he started to develop his Sub Saharan Africa network. At the time he worked for EconGas/OMV and he tried organizing longterm LNG supply for them under the unlikeliest of all circumstances.
