Trump’s Order Targeting State Climate Laws Is Probably Unconstitutional

Trump was never meant to rule the states like a distant emperor—he was supposed to be the one who broke the grip of Washington, who gutted the bureaucracy, dismantled the Deep State, tore down the thicket of federal overreach, and laid bare the hollow scams that keep the machine running. The promise wasn’t more control—it was the release of it: to return power to the states, where it always belonged. Yes, some will misstep, stumble, or collapse under the weight of their own choices. But that, grim as it sounds, is the cost of real autonomy: the right to fail as much as to thrive. Let them face their own consequences. Let bankruptcy sting. Let policies clash. That’s the unpolished reality of liberty—not utopia, not comfort, but agency. If anything offers hope, it’s the idea that through chaos and divergence, something better might emerge—not imposed from above, but forged by those who dare to own their freedom fully.
