Yes, I would like to believe that the pendulum swings back now as people must wake up to reality. BUT – I don’t think we are there yet. The war in Ukraine will be over in a few weeks and unless something drastic happens, the world will rapidly settle back into its old virtue signaling mode. Some of us think that because things are a lot worse now than just a few years ago, people will wake up. In Europe, it takes a lot more than just some discomfort.

I was introduced to and met Rudi in Angola when he started to develop his Sub Saharan Africa network. At the time he worked for EconGas/OMV and he tried organizing longterm LNG supply for them under the unlikeliest of all circumstances.
