No, it’s the other way around. Wind and Solar are still interruptible energy sources and still need a lot of backup power. So far, networks have been run way beyond anything sane resulting in load shedding and blackout making a comeback in Europe. It was also masked by shifting power back and forth through countries with high coal and nuclear generation resulting in massive wealth drains. But all the tricks were already on the ropes. The additional burden of the war and the resulting lack of conventional balancing energy will drive the system over the breaking point. And broken economies mean there is no more money for stupid make-belief-solutions.
