Being a swing producer comes with quite some pain. Potentially switching off your liquefaction train is never easy. Thats a quite large immobilized investment and installments for CAPEX are due come hell and high water. Having an alternative when world markets tank would be vastly preferable. And North American LNG producers just happen to have such an opportunity right at their doorstep. The biggest trucking market on the planet. Give them a reason to go for LNG as a fuel. You don’t even need ships for that market.
