USA and Canada’s Plan to Silence Independent Media
Any country that seeks to tackle its media and hence the freedom of its people deserves special scrutiny. In the US, the federal system will save it from the forces of totalitarianism. Canada is not so clear cut but I have seen signs by Provinces to show Ottawa its limits. Any politicians wet dream is to have public opinion under his thumb and that everyone bows to whatever policy they design. And we just cannot give it to them. they live in a special bubble and have no regard for the concerns of regular people anyhow. No need to reinforce that splendid isolation.
