Considering how the church had fared under communist rule in Eastern Europe and the Soviet Union, it’s astonishing that the official catholic church has turned deep red. A fully communist world would have gotten rid of them and capitalism allowed them to thrive. Is this a new level of self-loathing?

I was introduced to and met Rudi in Angola when he started to develop his Sub Saharan Africa network. At the time he worked for EconGas/OMV and he tried organizing longterm LNG supply for them under the unlikeliest of all circumstances.
