Weakest link to EV growth is the material supply chain

The material supply chain is one of the pieces that makes EV’s unnaturally cheap. I know, the words cheap and “Electric Vehicle” don’t really go together as even with all the tricks those things are still monstrously expensive. Most people forget to factor in the diminished driving profile due to the limited range. But just imagine that the metals needed to make those batteries would be extracted in a manner that does not destroy the environment. Have you seen what those mining operations in China or Africa look like? Then imagine the cost of all this done in a really sustainable way. Thats the real price of an EV – they are consummate destroyers of nature and mankind. hats the label they should wear.
