More road maps. Let’s have a look at the historical record. How many road maps translated into true results on the ground? My experience is that a road map is a very convenient way for a politician to transfer responsibility for an issue far into the future. A future when he would be retired and his successor must grapple with the issues arising from the non fulfillment of objectives of the road map. The politician signing a country up to a road map takes the glory, presents himself as a problem solver when in fact he is just another virtue signaler.
