Wind Subsidies Help Freeze Texans
Thats the real culprit. In a normal world, companies would allocate money to where it’s most needed. Well, at least they would try to. Because business interruptions are bad for business. But when all money is sucked off into a political stampede where a message that “renewables are the cheapest energy” must be sustained against all reality, that money missing needs to come from somewhere. There is nothing left for things that work. And thats when disasters happen. Renewable subsidies gave Texas a horrible hammering. You cant fill 10 pounds of crap into a 5 pound bag forever.
