And yet, it does not solve the biggest issue wind power has. It is still intermittent. Besides, floating structures are always way more expensive than onshore structures. Who pays for that given that the onshore wind turbines can only survive with large doses of subsidies? At least, disposal of the worn-out rotor blades will be easier. They will simply dump them onto the ocean floor. Out of sight, out of mind. No?

I was introduced to and met Rudi in Angola when he started to develop his Sub Saharan Africa network.
