Sure they anticipate that. It’s a great way to extract more money from the government (i.e. taxpayers) for useless projects and if by any chance this does not work in 2030, 2040, or ever, it does not matter much as the money will have been spent and they will bury this whole fiasco in a mountain of other catastrophes that handily present themselves as scapegoats. The BS never ends.

Are greens replacing fantasies of energy sources which don’t work, with fantasies of energy sources which don’t exist?

I was introduced to and met Rudi in Angola when he started to develop his Sub Saharan Africa network. At the time he worked for EconGas/OMV and he tried organizing longterm LNG supply for them under the unlikeliest of all circumstances.
