Another problem you won’t have with LNG. Pipelines are an open invitation to terrorists and local pressure groups as well as old style thieves. When its down, its down and lots suffer. LNG comes in lumps. You can take out one lump – that won’t dent supply for even a bit.

An additional 4,000 troops will be deployed to safeguard Pemex pipelines against theft, President López Obrador announced today.
