A Green New Deal Could Remake Our Society for the Better
It’s what I expected. A collection of vague ideas and announcements without any thought of how to put it into reality. But there is a way more sinister thing – AOC is young, and she may even know that this plan is utter nonsense and impossible to realize and that voters would kick the Democrats party ass at elections. This would eliminate the old guard in the Democratic party, and she will be around when the dust settles for a much bigger role. That would really be insidious. Finally, Nancy Pelosi has a frenemy that matches her scheming skills.
FDR’s New Deal helped usher in the age of the car. AOC’s Green New Deal could bring it to a close.
