Africa’s Headed for a Climate Showdown With Rich Nations

I remember a discussion I had with a couple of friends on asylum seekers and how to resolve the issue. I told them that it was simple and that it’s not the asylum seeker that is to blame. It’s us. We literally throw the goodies and the money after them – and as they are connected and tell their friends, they come too. Cut the benefits and they stay away plus many of those that are here will leave and go for the greener grass. Same thing here. I don’t blame poor country leaders to squeeze the lemon. We throw the money after them, they go for it. We are the idiots.

African leaders say industrialized countries should pay to save the planet rather than expecting them to forego oil and gas development.

I was introduced to and met Rudi in Angola when he started to develop his Sub Saharan Africa network.
