Aramco Weighs LNG Exports as Hydrogen Talks Prove Tough

What Aramco essentially says is that talk is cheap. You say you want hydrogen, you know this will cost a boatload of money and there is no way on Earth that any free market will ever cough it up so scratch yourself and fork over the cash. They don’t want to take a risk on this. I feel them and I totally agree. If the West wants to virtue signal, let them pay for it. Aramco is exactly right but as Western politicians know that their public finances are broken, they don’t have a lot of leeway here. No amount of smart BS contracts will do. Only cash is king and cash has become hard to get by. Don’t expect too many hydrogen projects to make it.
