Aussie Federal Senator Defends Call to Leave the Paris Agreement

Australian gas quickly becomes unobtainium. The cost of getting it out of the ground and to paying customers is so exorbitant because of a thick layer of regulation that does not have the objective of protecting the environment or the people but rather is designed to line the pockets of those benefiting from endless studies and consultation. I wrote about the CIC (Compliance Industrial Complex) in a long blogpost and argued that much of their so-called services and the attached cost does nothing to improve the project but are great revenue streams. Australia suffers through the CIC syndrome now. You can only smash this if someone with nerves of steel and a willingness to fight dirty takes the fight. Thats not Mr. Nice Guy.
