Sure he does – he must. Those on the financial levers of the Climate Industrial Complex know that they have peaked. They know that soon the game will be over for real and they want one more big scoop of money before it all crashes and the rest of us face the tally. Biden does what those he answers to need. Let’s not delude ourselves – Biden might be an especially egregious specimen of the homo politicus but he is no exception and not even rare. Pretty much everyone who decides to go into politics and aims for higher office must – at some point – decide to leave whatever modicum of decency was still there behind forever. Such is the nature of the beast.
