‘Bigger than Fukushima’: Russia’s war to leave lasting impact on LNG

The last 20 years of LNG have been the mother of all roller coaster rides. A little less than 20 years ago, North America was supposed to be the biggest LNG import market ever. Instead, it became its biggest export market. Then Fukushima came and there was a supposition that Japan will be forever bigger. But japan went back to coal and some nuke. Then China promised to be the golden lamb. And now the Ukraine/Russia situation is the biggest payday ever. But whatever happened, LNG always grew bigger and better. I always laugh when I hear about LNG’s demise.
