Sure, people can change their habits fairly quickly if they have to. That being said, its one thing to bunker up for a few months, its a totally different one to tell people that this will be their life until the end of your days. And just look what it does to the economy. Try this until the end of the year and see what’s left of your country. People start to freak out now. Only Chinese style repression can stifle this. Do we want that? I dont.
