China’s energy weakness will lose the New Cold War

Its always said that China has its hypersonic missiles and therefore, US carrier battle groups cannot operate near China as its too dangerous. Without wanting to discuss the real or imagined capabilities of the hypersonic missiles, they would most likely not have to go near Cina at all. Choking all seaborne traffic in and out of China is something those battle groups are very well equipped to do. Without any missile danger. And then they only have to wait until China disintegrates by itself. Thats the real challenge China faces. How to feed its billion+ people and keep things moving on. I dont envy them for it.

I was introduced to and met Rudi in Angola when he started to develop his Sub Saharan Africa network. At the time he worked for EconGas/OMV and he tried organizing longterm LNG supply for them under the unlikeliest of all circumstances.
