Climate change activists are focused on all the wrong solutions

Turn their heating (or AC) off, no more warm showers, no more electricity, no more mobile phone, no more internet, no more cars, much less lunch money, no more plastics in clothes, get out grandma’s woolen hat, only serve them uncooked food, and no drivers license. All good CO2 reduction measures those kids should be submitted to and more. That’s fossil energy. Don’t believe it? Try.

Individual actions, such as ditching meat and not flying, won’t make a substantial difference to our planet — and such demands divert attention away from the solutions that are needed.

I was introduced to and met Rudi in Angola when he started to develop his Sub Saharan Africa network. At the time he worked for EconGas/OMV and he tried organizing longterm LNG supply for them under the unlikeliest of all circumstances.
