Climate Fact Check: September 2023

This should be hard to accept for any sane, thinking person. We can clearly feel how this summer has been. It was warm and we sweated but hey – it’s called summer for a reason. We have seen people walking in the streets with thick jackets in August, we saw that in September. We saw some moderately hot days too but nothing like 2016 and 2017 – for those with long memories. People stand in the cold with a jacket and read a headline that it’s the hottest summer and they concur. Idiocracy at its very finest.

I was introduced to and met Rudi in Angola when he started to develop his Sub Saharan Africa network. At the time he worked for EconGas/OMV and he tried organizing longterm LNG supply for them under the unlikeliest of all circumstances.
