Coronavirus, gas slump put brakes on Exxon’s giant Mozambique LNG plan
How long has the Mozambique project been around now? Way more than a decade. Mozambique is one of the most impressive would-be-but-mot-quite LNG superpowers. They could be a big player but instead, they will likely remain nobodies in this game. Maybe some other African governments want to check this out when they start their own big projects.
