Dumb As It Gets: Germany Heads into Winter Refusing to Let Badly Needed Power Plants Operate
Is this evolution at play. When you elect dumb and/or corrupt leaders, you should not be surprised if things go to hell in a handbasket. I guess we will find out what the suffering capacity of the German population is. Mainstream political parties are lucky that their competition is such a mess. If Germany had a real alternative, I would expect at least a solid third of the electorate to go for this common-sense solution. But those who have common sense have no political acumen. And those who know how to play politics are so egocentric that they cant do what’s right for long.
