One fundamental problem of politics is its incredible intransparency. What would be wrong to ask for how every single dollar of government expenditure has been spent? Let’s say that 2 years after a fiscal year has been closed the public should be able to see everything, down to the last hamburger an official munched on government expense. That would mean we could see absolutely everything about 2018 this year. Impossible as the data load is too big. Just put it on a server and I trust there will be those able to pick it apart. Are they public servants or emperors?

I was introduced to and met Rudi in Angola when he started to develop his Sub Saharan Africa network.
