Equinor, Gazprom lose European gas market share as LNG surges

Most people don’t understand – the US LNG projects use Europe as a dumping ground for LNG that they cannot sell to Asia or to other high paying markets. They can afford to take a hit on it much better than the Russians that cant reroute their pipelines. In the end, more Russian pipeline gas provides stability to counterbalance variabilities in LNG flow. So, new Russian pipelines are good for LNG. Crazy but effective.

I was introduced to and met Rudi in Angola when he started to develop his Sub Saharan Africa network.
