Europe to lose two-thirds of storage capacity in hydrogen conversion

I know energy executives that have told me in confidentiality that they expect this hydrogen thing to blow over and maybe they have to use their Natural Gas assets to transport and store hydrogen but when people come to their senses, they can just flip back to Natural Gas and no further harm is done. But it’s not so easy. Hydrogen is a very aggressive molecule that not only embrittles many metals. It also permeates through anything so there will be constant leakage. And it is also very explosive even at low mixtures with air so this is a massive hazard. How many pipes will we lose? And terminals?
