I don’t like this whole belief thing. It belongs to the spiritual realms. In science, we want to know. And thats exactly the problem today. Where once there were facts and observation, there is data generation through modeling today. COVID has shown us how slippery that path is in reality. Slippery enough to not take any decisions with serious economic consequences based on results from equations only. If they are not corroborated by observations in the real world, they are mental masturbation.

I was introduced to and met Rudi in Angola when he started to develop his Sub Saharan Africa network.
