German DWD National Weather Service Declares Near Normal July As “Too Warm, Wet And Sunny”

This is/was the coolest summer in the last 10 years and that’s me living in Austria saying that. By the beginning of August, I saw people with thick jackets in the streets. It was cold and incredibly rainy and not for a day or two but for weeks. But even now as it’s warmer again we are far from the temperature highs I have personally experienced in 2016 and 2017 when we crossed into 40+ Celsius territory for weeks on end. We have not seen those again for 6 years now. Strangely, when it’s unusually cool, all the climate voices disappear just to come back when we have a couple of warm days. It’s called summer.
