Germany Still Years Away From Replacing Russian Gas Capacity

And it will remain years away from replacing Russian gas for a long time if Germany does not come around and considers some solutions it did not want to consider so far. Shale oil and gas will be one of them. Reviving nuclear is another. Actual clean coal would be a third. All those issues are challenging but let’s make it easier. They must have the one, the big debate that really matters. Are they willing to lose their industrial economy and become the sick man of Europe for the next couple of decades or are they ready to have a second look at the crazy green policies and their underpinning assumptions?
