Maybe a good point to look back and compare the predictions that were made at the time with what came to be in our world today. Does anyone remember Hansen’s prediction that the Manhattan West Side highway would be submerged by 2006? Not only is it bone dry, but the water level is also very far below the road level. 15 years after it was supposed to be permanently wet. Or the famous no more Arctic ice by 2020? I know voodoo witchdoctors with a better prediction track record.

I was introduced to and met Rudi in Angola when he started to develop his Sub Saharan Africa network.
