The tech giants thought they can muddle through this with some virtue signaling show-off announcements, measures and projects. But their operations and livelihoods depend on fossil energy. RE is not up to the task and they know that. So they paid money for some placebo measures in order to get the greens off their backs. Now the genes have sniffed the turd and want their skins. Tech giants better had invested in some people that show people the truth of climate change. Now they deal with a far bigger problem. Virtue signaling solves nothing.
