Renewables have given Natural gas the biggest bull market ever. It goes like this. First, radical activists will make it so that coal and nuclear power production is closed and dismantled. They want wind generation and solar panels for them. Then they find out that those sources of electricity are unstable as they need wind or the sun. Then they need something to pick up the slack and that’s almost always Natural gas as it’s fast to build and clean. Natural gas has never been bigger and growth prospects have never been better.

I was introduced to and met Rudi in Angola when he started to develop his Sub Saharan Africa network. At the time he worked for EconGas/OMV and he tried organizing longterm LNG supply for them under the unlikeliest of all circumstances.
