Hope for Global Solar Boom Turning to Bust as China Underwhelms

Help me here. We are bombarded by news that wind and solar are now cheaper than other forms of energy generation. If that is true, why does it matter then if China pulls subsidies? China needs energy and they are no fools. They will go for the cheapest energy. If wind and solar are really the cheapest – as they claim they are – there should be no stopping them anywhere. Subsidies or not. Its funny that everyone who asks questions is immediately treated like human scum. But those endless liars should be treated as such. If they told us that wind and solar are damn expensive and unreliable, but we should still have it because (put in whatever reason they pull out of the sleeve) I would at least give them credit for honesty and balls. But that’s not what they are telling us.

Hope for a boom in the global solar industry this year is fading as the top market is expected to miss its installation target.
