How Will Labour Replace North Sea Oil Tax Revenues?

If North Sea tax revenue gets you the shivers, I have a real master-blaster terror bird for you. Combustion vehicle owners are true tax revenue superstars. They pay multiple taxes on the vehicle and on the fuel as well. It is supposed to pay for the roads but this money goes much further than that. Electric vehicles are exempt from much of that. They get subsidies on top. So a first-class cash cow is replaced with a cash-munching hog. If you are really concerned about the loss of revenue from the North Sea, you have chicken to roast that is much closer to home.
