And we also find out that not only are CO2 emissions not lower but that temperature does not give two craps about the concentration of CO2 in the air. Because it has been a flawed argument since its inception. But aside from the scam, people had a taste of what the future without fossil energy could potentially look like. Take COVID and put it on steroids. Pull out fossil fuels of your life and you are back in the Middle Ages. The lockdown will appear like a beach vacation in the Bahamas compared to that.

Daily emissions have dropped by 17% globally, but new data shows this will make little difference to climate change.
