All ESG does is expose companies to another cabal of less-than-useful consultants, all coming from the climate crowd for their indulgences. Because thats what it really is. Pay me very handsomely and I will issue something that says you are part of the good ones, part of those that make an effort for the good of the planet. It does not matter if you really do as long as you shell out financially and keep me in the upper echelon of society. Thats what was done with indulgences and they created a religious schism through their shameless selling of the right to sin.
